Imagination Library Luncheon 2023

Many thanks to all of the Imagination Library Luncheon attendees who sold out the room at Ford Alumni Center on Wednesday, October 4, 2023!  We appreciate you all for joining us to support a cause near and dear to Dolly Parton’s heart by championing early literacy in our community!

We are excited to report that we made over $65,000!  It’s not too late to help us increase that total!  You can donate, or encourage friends and family to donate, by following this link

Imagination Library of Eugene, as well as this event, would not be possible without the support of our Imagination Library Advisory Board (ILAB).  We are especially grateful to ILAB member, Meagan Rammell (pictured above), who always goes above and beyond to lend a hand.

We appreciate the generosity of those in attendance who raised their paddles and purchased raffle tickets, those who were not able to attend, but still donated, and the sponsors of the luncheon.  Check out our generous Luncheon sponsors below!

To date, we have distributed more than 350,000 books to more than 13,000 young readers. Help us to continue to plant the seeds of literacy in the young minds in our community: join us to celebrate the number of children reached, and raise our paddles to reaching more!

Early literacy is essential to our entire community. We believe in the power of literacy to change and enrich lives.

Currently, many incoming kindergartners do not meet the state benchmarks for early literacy. They are behind even before they start. We want to change that. Let’s give children the tools they need to be successful and happy.

Imagination Library is a cost-effective early literacy program at $25 per child per year, reaching children ages birth to five, which are crucial early learning years. Free books arrive directly to children each month.
