Science of Reading series

In recognition that October is Dyslexia and Dysgraphia Awareness Month, Eugene Public Library is partnering with Eugene Public Library Foundation to take a deep dive into the science and research informing the way we think, talk, and support developing readers, especially those with learning differences.

On the first three Thursdays, we will screen three documentaries:

The Right to Read (Oct. 5),

The Truth About Reading (Oct. 12), and

Blame it on Gutenberg (Oct. 19).

The final Thursday (Oct. 26), will feature a panel discussion with school, library, and community experts.

Each week, activities will be provided onsite in the program room for up to 15 kids.

The programs are free and no pre-registration is required.
