Announcing Booked for the Evening April 2022

Eugene Public Library Foundation Announces Booked for the Evening

EUGENE, Ore. – January 5, 2022 – Eugene Public Library Foundation is pleased to invite our community to Booked for the Evening at 6pm on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Valley River Inn. Booked for the Evening is the Foundation’s premiere benefit event, raising funds and support for Eugene Public Libra

This year, we will fundraise for Eugene Public Library’s new Library of Things. The Library of Things will lend physical items that help community members unlock knowledge, explore interests, and share with each other. Items that will be lent include sewing machines, electricity usage meters, telescopes, cameras, and much more.

Booked for the Evening will feature Honorary Chair Mayor Lucy Vinis, special guest author Kim Johnson, and host Storm Kennedy.  The event will feature dinner and dessert, entertaining speakers, silent auction, and demonstrations of items within the Library of Things collection.

Speakers will be live streamed for those joining from home. Once the event has concluded, it will also be available to watch on-demand at eplfoundation.org/booked.

Tickets, event information, and sponsorship opportunities will be available at eplfoundation.org/booked. Early bird discounts are available through February 11, 2022. We are anticipating holding the event in person this year and will follow local health guidelines and proof of vaccination recommendations at the time.
